ADVANCED QUANTUM SPECTROSCOPY FOR HAZARDS DETECTION

The meeting involved the Consortium members from ENEA, Griffith University, and University of Roma Tre, the Project Officer (Dr. E. Marchesoni - NATO SPS) and several invited speakers: Prof. H. Defienne (CNRS/Sorbonne University, France), Prof. B. Brecht (Paderborn University, Germany), Prof. B. Jankiewicz (WAT, Poland), and Dr. D. Morcuende (QuIC Network Manager, Spain).
The project kick-off meeting was held on 19th September 2025 as a hybrid event, with some participants joining online and others gathering at the ENEA Frascati Research Centre.
The KOM was aimed to introduce the Consortium members to the project background, provide details on the administrative, financial and security aspects, establish reporting guidelines, and define a shared strategy for effective collaboration and contribution to the Deliverables. It also offered the opportunity to discuss the pillar topics of the project, its perspectives, and the future of photon-based quantum sensing, with contributions from a committee of internationally recognised experts.
